As a result of the incident at the wedding, not only the lion cub was lost, but Pat himself was subjected to considerable scrutiny. He will have to publish a video about animal rights every month throughout the year.
A representative of the national wildlife service outlined how they had to save a six-month-old lion cub, which was found wandering near a car dealership. According to him, the situation was very serious since the climate turned out to be cold.
Rajab Pat admitted his guilt in the illegal possession of a wild animal and was fined. This incident prompted the regional authorities of Punjab to activate work on a new law that requires owners of wild animals to obtain permission and demonstrate that the animal lives on a territory of no less than four hectares and is agreed with the national wildlife service.
