The head of the mission of the International Monetary Fund, Nathan Porter, stated about significant progress in the negotiations with Pakistani authorities on reaching an agreement on staff positions within the framework of the first review of the program for seven billion dollars. The mission continues negotiations with Pakistani authorities via video link in the coming days.

"The IMF and the Pakistani authorities have made significant progress in reaching an agreement on staff on the first review of the 37-month expanded fund facility program," the statement noted.
