A suicide bombing outside a court building in a residential area of Islamabad has killed 12 people and wounded 27, according to Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The minister told journalists at the scene that the attack occurred at 12:39 PM in Kachahri, where the court building is located. 'So far, 12 people have been killed and about 27 have been injured,' he added. Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site of the explosion, directing authorities to conduct a swift and comprehensive investigation and complete the search for the perpetrators, according to the Pakistani Associated Press of Pakistan news agency. The agency reported that the Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Anees Nadeem Rizvi, briefed the Interior Minister on the details of the incident, while Islamabad Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa and senior police officials were also present at the blast site. Minister Naqvi strongly condemned the attack, describing the explosion as a cowardly terrorist act. Naqvi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and offered condolences to the victims' families.
