In Pakistan, on Saturday, eight people were killed, among whom were six employees of human rights organizations. The incident took place in the province of Balochistan in the western part of the country. According to local authorities, the attack was carried out by unknown armed individuals who opened fire on police and soldiers.

One of the representatives of human rights organizations stated: "Seven people died on the spot, and one more succumbed to injuries in the hospital." According to official data, the incident occurred as a result of an attack on a patrol group of human rights defenders in the locality of Loralai. Special services have begun investigating the incident and working to apprehend the perpetrators.
