Attack on Pakistani Border Police Kills Ten

Ten members of the Pakistani border police were killed in a nighttime attack not far from the border with Afghanistan, official sources reported on Friday.

The attack occurred in the province of Balochistan in western Pakistan. A group of militants ambushed a police patrol in the Loralai area, opening fire from automatic weapons. As a result of this, ten police officers were killed, and a few others were injured.

The Taliban terrorist group in Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack. They stated that such attacks would continue until the Pakistani police remain on the side of the authorities.

"We will not leave you in peace. Continue to support this regime, and you will be subjected to attacks," the statement said, published on the Taliban's website.
