Islamabad/Kabul, Oct 31 (EFE).- Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed on Friday to extend the ceasefire reached in mid-October and to hold a new high-level meeting on November 6 in Istanbul. This follows six days of talks mediated by Turkey and Qatar, after the dialogue collapsed earlier this week.
"All parties have agreed to the continuation of the ceasefire. The modalities of implementation will be discussed and decided at a high-level meeting to be held on November 6 in Istanbul," stated Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a joint communiqué.
