The Pakistani army announced on Wednesday that Indian strikes have caused damage to a Pakistani dam, escalating tensions between the two countries.

The Pakistani army reported that Indian strikes caused damage to Pakistani territory.

"The Indian airstrike caused the destruction of any object on the dam, however, engineers oriented on the command mission made every effort to mitigate the consequences of the strike," stated the Pakistani army in a statement.

These allegations are related to an incident on Monday when India reported an attack on a "terrorist camp" in the Pakistan region of KPK. Pakistan rejected this statement, and the buildings at the site turned out to be minimally damaged.

According to the version of the Pakistani side, Indian Air Force dropped bombs in the Chackoti area on the immediate border with Kashmir. A representative of the Pakistani army stated: "We saw the place where the bombs fell. They released their bombs and left, and no one was hurt."
