Local police reported that at least seven people, including five students, were killed in an explosion in southwestern Pakistan today, on Friday.
According to him, the explosion occurred near a school in the town of Khost, when students were leaving after classes. Details of the incident have not been disclosed yet, but it is suggested that the explosion was a result of a terrorist act.
Police and emergency services arrived at the scene, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. An investigation is underway to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has already expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and confirmed that those responsible will be brought to justice according to the law.
