In Peshawar, a Pakistani man was killed over a WhatsApp group dispute after being removed by the suspect, leading to a deadly confrontation. The suspect has been arrested.

In the Pakistani town of Peshawar, a man who was an administrator of a neighbor group on WhatsApp was killed for being removed from it, reported the police. According to the agency France Press, the brother of the victim, Mushtafa Ahmed, stated that the victim deleted a man's number by the name of Ashfaq, allegedly the murderer, from the WhatsApp group after a conflict between them. The men had agreed to meet for a confrontation, but when they gathered in the company of their relatives, among whom was Mushtafa Ahmed's brother, Ashfaq opened fire "in response to his removal from the group." According to police spokesman Noor Wali, Ashfaq was arrested and charged with murder.
