flydubai has announced the commencement of flights to Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW) in Peshawar from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB). Beginning May 15, 2025, the Dubai-based airline will operate daily flights between Dubai and Peshawar, thereby enhancing travel options for passengers from the UAE and the surrounding areas.
Since 2010, flydubai has been progressively expanding its presence in Pakistan. The airline, which initiated its services in the country with flights to Karachi, has since added several other destinations to its network, including Faisalabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot. Peshawar, located in northwestern Pakistan, is known for its rich historical heritage, being one of the oldest cities in South Asia.
flydubai proudly maintains a modern fleet consisting of 89 Boeing 737 aircraft, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience for its passengers. The carrier offers various fare options for the Dubai-Peshawar route, with Return Business Class fares starting at AED 5,270 and Economy Class Lite fares starting at AED 1,300.
In a statement released today, flydubai introduced the upcoming flights to Peshawar, highlighting the city's cultural significance exemplified by attractions like the historic Bala Hisar Fort and the Qissa Khwani Bazaar, which historically served as a hub for traders and poets. With a network spanning over 130 destinations, flydubai has played a pivotal role in connecting previously underserved markets to Dubai, with 97 of these destinations lacking direct air links previously.
Passengers traveling from Peshawar to Dubai can avail themselves of competitive rates, with Return Business Class fares starting from PKR 391,600 and Economy Class Lite fares beginning at PKR 104,950. The commencement of flights to Peshawar further solidifies flydubai's commitment to enhancing connectivity in the region and providing passengers with diverse travel options.
